Customer Success Engineer

OverOps is growing and we’re looking for a customer-facing engineer to join our Customer Success team! If you're in the Bay Area, we'd love for you to work from our San Francisco office, but we're also open to exceptional remote candidates as well.

As our Customer Success Engineer, you will work closely with the DevOps and Infrastructure engineering teams at our existing customers ensuring continued success post-implementation. We’re a highly technical product, so strong technical acumen in addition to great, consultative people-skills would make you great for this.

We're looking for an experienced automation engineer to help us scale our test infrastructure and coverage. Help further improve our product quality, before it reaches our clients, both humans and systems alike. From UI testing to Docker stress testing -- we automate everything.

As automation engineer, you will be tasked with developing and maintaining our automation infrastructure, creating and running automated test-plan scenarios to ensure the quality of the system and its internal/external interfaces, as well as analyzing and validating execution results. The role encompasses a multitude of technologies, including web, front-end, back-end, as well as working across multiple operating systems and environments.

Work closely with fellow developers, QA, designers and product managers to make sure our product and features are bullet-proof, and help us make debugging production environments awesome.

As Product Manager, you will help us transform our product line into a platform. This extends from increasing the profitability of existing features to developing new features and products for the company. You will build them based on existing ideas, and help develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality.

You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company, and see the big picture, but also the smallest bolts that make the machine operate. The person we’re looking for is highly analytic, and builds products and features based on actual numbers and product analysis.
That person will work closely with our core engineering team to define product release requirements; With our UX designers to make sure each new feature or product is user-friendly, and does what it’s supposed to; And with the marketing leads to define the go-to-market strategy, help them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
  • Specifying requirements for current and future features by conducting market research supported by on-going conversations with customers and prospects.
  • Defining and designing the appearance and UI/UX with our UX designers, building mock-ups, gathering feedback, and improving those ideas.
  • Writing Product Requirements Documents, defining the product and analytics required, covering all use cases and stories, from big picture ideas to the smallest edge cases and product behaviour.
  • Driving a solution set across development teams (primarily Development/Engineering, and Marketing Communications) through market requirements, product contract, and positioning.
