Technical Account Manager
( New York, NY )
OverOps is growing and we’re looking for our first Technical Account Manager to join our growing Solution Engineering team. This is a customer-facing engineering role that will work with some of our highest profile clients in the New York City area. As our TAM, you will quickly become an expert in OverOps and be able to work directly with customers to ensure successful adoption and utilization of OverOps.

You will work closely with development, engineering, and operations teams to help them leverage OverOps within their SDLC. We’re a highly technical product, so strong technical acumen in addition to great, consultative people-skills would make you the perfect fit.


  • Helping companies ship applications more rapidly and with more confidence
  • Bringing better tools to developers to allow them to spend their time shipping code instead of fixing it
  • Supporting customer teams throughout their lifecycle as they navigate the OverOps platform
  • Working alongside customer teams to find smart and creative solutions to problems that may arise
  • Working with a variety of tools and technologies that our customers may have in place


  • A strong engineer - you have a development background and know the SDLC tools and processes
  • A people-person - you have no problem speaking with a variety of internal and external teams
  • Highly organized - you can juggle multiple tasks and priorities with ease and keep all the relevant people and systems updated as you go along
  • A team-player - nothing happens in a vacuum, you'll need to be able to leverage our entire team as needed and keep everyone informed


  • 5+ years experience developing and deploying software in the enterprise
  • 5+ years of experience working with Java and/or .NET
  • Significant experience working with Linux OS
  • Knowledge of networking components and concepts
  • Ability to troubleshoot networking issues that may prevent communication between different components
  • Excellent customer facing skills and interest in working onsite with customers
  • BS in Computer Science, or equivalent
  • Ability to travel domestically 30%+ of the time


  • Run an engineering team
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure and/or other cloud technologies
  • Knowledge in containers technology
  • Knowledge in authentication methods (SAML, LDAP) and AD
  • Experience with deployment methodologies (chef, puppet)
